The compact is small enough to toss in any bag, which makes shade-testing on the go super easy. I wore it for a few hours and the semi-matte finish held up nicely without looking cakey. Just wish the tester came with a tiny mirror, but for trying before committing, it's perfect.

Finally got to test the shade range properly without committing to a full compact, and the semi-matte finish held up nicely through a full workday. The tester size is perfect for tossing in my bag and comparing two shades side by side.

The packaging is simple but that's fine for a tester. I used it to check the shade against my jawline and the semi-matte finish looked natural under office lights, so I'm confident buying the full size now.
